I want to learn about supports and resources for survivors of Sexual Violence
The Sexual Violence Prevention & Support Centre (SVPS Centre) is a trauma-informed, supportive space for people of all identities that works to create a campus environment where all members of the University community can study, work, and live free from sexual violence. The Centre has locations on each campus to help U of T students and all employees (staff, faculty, and librarians), who have been affected by sexual violence or sexual harassment access support, services, and accommodations.
The SVPS Centre’s website lists the full range of services and workshops offered.
Members of the University community who have experienced intimate partner violence may also obtain supports and referrals to services through the SVPS Centre.
When a Respondent has also disclosed an experience of sexual violence, the SVPS Centre can provide support in relation to that experience through a different Coordinator, while support related to their role as a Respondent will be provided by a different office.
